Snobirds:

The Toiletries, BOX TOPS ,Ink Carriages & POP TOP Rings collection was a big success. 17 cars showed up and we filled two 11X11X17 inch boxes. Also have 5 small sandwich bags of pop tops. Baldwin County Ecumenical Council in Foley was very happy for your generosity. Thanks to Toni & Jim Koeppen and to everyone that collected items.

The Be My Valentine! Draw Down for Mary's Shelter and auction made.  There were many many Snowbirds that bought tickets online. One Snowbird was the winner of the $10,000.00.  .

See us Snowbirds do make a difference.

I received a request for some help PAINTING BACKGROUND SETS  for a Orange Beach Theatre Production.

I am seeking volunteers this week to help us paint backdrops and set pieces for our upcoming theatre production, “Thoroughly Modern Millie“.

We’ll be at the City of Orange Beach logistics shop tomorrow at 9 am and most mornings/evenings/this  weekend if you or anyone you or anyone you know would like to help paint.

We’ve got to be finished by Jan. 30. I’ve included Uilma Meehan (pronounced Wilma — our Continuing  Excellence instructor) as she’s helping us with scheduling and paint training. They can just reply to me and Uilma if they’re interested.

Have a wonderful day!

Snobirds
Help !
You may have heard that this years Brat Fest has been canceled. This is TRUE  There is one item that will not be effected by the cancellation. That being the storage rent. Both the Brat Fest and the Low Country Boil share a storage room at Public Storage. The rent for the coming year, which starts April 1st is $1,500.00 The LCB has arranged their share by obtaining loans from 6 of the Snowbird Clubs. The Wisconsin Snobird Club LOANED $150.00 to the Low Country Boil for storage fees. This is to be paid back after the 2023 LCB.

It has been suggested that each Snowbird Club ask members for a dollar or two from it's members. I am email all 860 members, 621 email addresses of the Wisconsin Snobird Club and asking you if you would MAIL A DOLLAR OR TWO (no checks) to the treasurer of the Brat Fest to help with the rent. Mail to:

Gerald Louward

When things are good the Brat Fest was a fun event and we raised big time money, over $119,00.00. Now that things are a little ruff we need to look at how we can just survive.

THANK YOU
Kenn
