  • At the Low Country Boil Friday, Dr. Adam Livingston, who is the new director of the zoo, told those he talked with that the plans for the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo have changed. The current zoo will close after September. All animals will be moved to the new location with in a three week period. The opening of the zoo has been moved ahead to around Thanksgiving of this year, 2019. The first to open will be this May with the opening of the restaurant. Work at the zoo is now about four weeks ahead of schedule.

  2. Lunches after the meetings is in need of a person or persons to set up only 6 lunches after our meetings. We have been averaging about 100 members at these lunches. That gives us a big group of people to get a volunteer for arranging the lunches. As always, you will be given help on what to do the set up the lunches. If no one volunteers for next year, there will be no club lunches. CONTACT ME
  3. Breakfast: The club has breakfast in Oct., Nov., Dec.and March. If you enjoy these breakfast and want them
