Snobirds:

  • Two work days have been scheduled for the zoo. Monday January 6th at 8:30 and Tuesday January 7th at 8:30.  You can work one or both of the days. I know this is right when most of you are settling in. There will be plenty of other work days ahead. The zoo would like to know how many workers there will be each day.  So what I am asking you is if you know that you will be working one or both of the days please send me a e-mail with the day/days. The reason for this is that the zoo will be moving animals to the new zoo starting the 6th and they have a lot of building to do. They want to make sure that there is enough materials for the projects of that day. We do need to build as many picnic tables as we did last year. plus there is some painting of tables, trash can covers and more to be done. I did mention that most of us would like to do construction. Please e-mail me with your choice of work days.  We are going to try to schedule two work days a week. PS: directions are county road 6 east off of HWY 59.  The first driveway past the large apartment complex on the left, turn in there, go though the entrance and turn left before the parking lot. Go all the way to the end past the DO NOT ENTER SIGNS. Large green buildings is were we gather to  work.
  • In my e-mail the other day I said that something new is coming. Well it is here. We have a new website address.http://www.wisconsinsnobirds.com The new address makes it easier to go to our website. The site has a new look and has been redone. The new address also makes it easier for people searching for the Wisconsin Snobirds Club website to find it. Our old site had over 2,800 hits in the last 11 months.  The new address is also on the bottom of my e-mails. Please change your bookmark and start using the new address. The older Google pages will not be updated after 08:00 AM December 23, 2019.Thank yous to our webmaster: Patrick Mattson for all of his work converting our old website to the new one.
